Over the past few years, team Film Karigar has produced over 300 videos, encompassing a diverse range of formats, including feature documentaries, short documentary series, and video interviews with individuals from various walks of life. Among our most notable achievements are the video documentation for Project Nomad and our ongoing collaboration with the NGO Trinayani to create content for their disability awareness website.
These projects exemplify our commitment to impactful storytelling and raising awareness on crucial social issues.
Documentary films are non-fictional motion pictures that present a factual, informative, and often persuasive portrayal of real events, issues, or people. The primary purpose is to document reality, educate, and shed light on various aspects of life, society, history, or the natural world. We often use interviews, archival footage, reenactments, and observational methods to capture real-life situations. Documentaries can cover a wide range of subjects, from social and political issues to cultural phenomena and historical events.
Corporate films are audiovisual productions created for and commissioned by businesses or corporations. These films are designed to communicate the brand's message, showcase its products or services, and convey its values and identity to internal and external stakeholders. Corporate films are used for marketing, training, internal communications, and branding. They can include promotional videos, training videos, executive messages, product launches, and corporate event coverage.
Project films are specialised films that focus on documenting and presenting specific projects or initiatives. These projects can range from community development efforts and infrastructure projects to educational initiatives and charitable endeavours. The purpose of project films is to highlight the objectives, progress, and impact of a particular project. These films serve as a visual tool to communicate the project's purpose, showcase achievements, and generate support or interest from stakeholders.

India, once renowned for its meticulous and extensive documentation, has lost much of this invaluable tradition over centuries of invasions, deprivation, and social transformation. However, as the world recognises the growing importance of documentation in preserving history and knowledge, the demand for structured, accessible, and cost-effective archival solutions is greater than ever.
At Film Karigar, we are committed to reviving and modernising the craft of documentation by developing a comprehensive and accessible Digital Preservation Framework. Whether it's family histories, organisational milestones, cultural narratives, architectural records, or social documentation, we ensure that valuable records are safeguarded for future generations.
Our expertise extends to the digital preservation and maintenance of photographs, prints, letters, scriptures, blueprints, maps, and other essential documents. Through our in-house technology and meticulous archival processes, we provide cost-effective, high-quality, and sustainable solutions that ensure your history remains intact, year after year.
At Film Karigar, we don’t just document—we preserve stories, heritage, and the essence of time.
